We trust you will be able to be a part of God’s great work at the North Florida Fair this year. The following information should be helpful to you as you prepare to work with us. We ask you to arrive on the day before your first work day so that you will be set up and ready for orientation the following morning at 9:00 a.m. The Fair will run for 12 days this year. Veteran’s Day falls on Sunday, so the Fair will extend through Monday, November 12. At orientation, we will have a devotion and prayer time. Each day following the devotion there will be a time to review the last evening’s “happenings.” At this time, you will receive your assignments for the day and any instructions from the Fair Office. The weather in Tallahassee can be changeable at this time of the year. We suggest that, in addition to light daytime clothing, you also bring clothing suitable for cold and/or wet weather. Since our campground can get wet and muddy, proper footwear (boots or overshoes) could come in handy. The Fair phone number at which you may be reached, only in the event of an emergency. is 850/878-3247. Come prepared for fun, fellowship and hard work. We will have a pot luck lunch one day and try to find a buffet breakfast one morning. Also, let us know if you have friends who would like to work with us at the Fair.
Interested in joining us? Contact Ken and Barbara Dykes 813-763-0097; Email:email@example.com, as soon as you are reasonably certain of the dates you will be available. This will enable us to get started on the schedule before you arrive. If, for some reason, you are unable to work with us at any time this year, please let us know. We will keep you in mind for the Fair next year. See you at the Fair! . . . . . . . Ken and Barbara Dykes
